he angular heads of the series W17 are equipped with one processing spindle which can be arranged in a determined angle in the area from 0º (horizontally) up to 90º max. (vertically). The determined angle cannot be modified afterwards. The spindle turning direction is opposite to the drive turning direction. The drive speed is transferred to the tool receptacles in a ratio of 1:1. With regard to the type W17-1.2-SB the spindle can be arranged with a sawing and drilling receptacle according to the above mentioned indications. A maximum spindle speed of 18.000 1/min is possible in interval operation.
Attention:
The use of saw blades is possible with the angular heads of the type series W17 up to a maximum diameter of 300 mm. The freewheeling of the saw blade, however, has to be observed respectively the max. diameter has to be limited correspondingly - depending on the used drive adapters and the drive cover contour (customer’s part).
